GREY MATTER HETEROTOPIA

Subependymal nodules, as seen in tuberous sclerosis - these have signal abnormality that is mixed white matter/grey matter.
Closed lipped schizencephaly - can appear similar to subcortical nodular heterotopia, but is associated with a 'dimple', rather than a 'bulge' in the ventricle wall
