DRAVET SYNDROME (DS)

Mandatory seizures

Febrile and afebrile focal clonic, including hemiclonic, seizures and/or generalized clonic seizures. Hemiclonic seizures may alternate sides of the body from seizure to seizure. Seizures are frequently prolonged and triggered by fever, heat, illness or immunization.

May have

  • Myoclonic seizures
  • Atypical absence seizures
  • Atonic seizures
  • Non-convulsive status epilepticus
  • Some patients may have seizures induced by visual patterns, or photic stimulation.

    Epileptic spasms
